PREPARE TO ENTER THE PAST

The art history we study starts with Prehistoric cave art, and continues through to the turn of the century and the time of Henry Ford's creation of the assembly line. We will study these history periods over a three year period at the same time we study some world cultures.

Prehistoric/Egyptian/Greek and RomanThe first group is the time of ancient art and great civilizations that you will never forget because they are unbelievably cool and awesome.

Medieval/Renaissance/Pilgrims to Pioneers. The second group covers much of the Western World's recorded history from the time of castle in Europe to the beginnings of America.

Impressionism,Cubism/African American.Finally the third year we study a time improtant to Bay City and the USA The three are a group which can be seen in Bay City's rich history and we will be studying the art and how it can still be seen around you today.
